Making Waves with Pacesetters

Ravishing Fiesta (Beauty Pageant)

On the 25th of August, advisors Mr Koh Kok Whye and Ms Theresa Teo, together with the students from makeup and hairstyling team, were asked to be the makeup artists and hairstylists for the Ravishing Fiesta (Beauty Pageant) at RAV.

Truly, it was a time of test for their skills. All the efforts were paid off when the organizer M5 Concept Pte Ltd sent us the following thank you note:

Really thanks for your support for Ravishing Fiesta Final. I m quite impressed with every single of you as all of you really dun look like students and advisors. Very professional till even SPH reporters was asking me which company did all of you came from.
William Soh, M5 Concept Pte Ltd

Despite having an Understanding Test the next day, they went all way out to ensure good job done. To the extent that some of the contestants thought they were from Jean Yip or Cosmoprof! Their commitment to the tasks given to them is highly commendable. All the advisors are very proud of them.

Delta RC & Ponggol RC event

Our nailart group, led by Xujia represented RP in the above event in August 2004. Having set up their stall at 11.30am, the crowd started to pop in one after the other, and business picked up without much effort. In total, the team of five girls who specialize in nail art and artistic tattoos, made $147!

“It’s freehand and seems to be their own designs…. And it really fascinates me to see RP students to start up such activities…” admired a satisfying customer.

Lifexchange Asia Pacific Summit Project

Last June, RP students Rachet and Carl participated in the 3rd Anti-Ageing Conference and Parkway Shenton Lifexchange Summit held from 24th to 27th June and 26th June respectively. The organizers were indeed very pleased with their performance that they sent a letter of commendation to RP to commend their efforts and commitment!

Students showed much enthusiasm and initiatives both in the preparation stage, as well as the event proper. Of special mention is the maturity shown during the Conference where the students manning our booths were able to engage visitors in very professional manner, representing both our company and products well. The students helping us in the Summit displayed good people skills and attitude as they complemented our staff in registration and ushering our guests.
Zech Leong, Lifexchange Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Well done Pacesetters, let your Pacesetters’ spirit run high! We know our efforts have finally paid off, especially when the industry personally have identified and recognized your professionalism.
