Minister Mr Lim Swee Say thanked RP (Nature IG)

It all started as early as 20^th May 2007.

·         Massive coordination throughout (briefing after briefing, emails after emails, meetings after meetings)

·         Preparation of presentation about anti-littering message.

   

·         Our students went to the schools and presented the message interactively with games.

   

  

·         We recced campaign site on Monday 23/7 before the actual day.

·         More than 80 SAS students acted as environmental ambassadors, led little kids to pick up litter, remembered to spray insect repellant on them, ensured they wore plastic gloves … NDA points rewarded to them.

  

We gathered at OK Park for Minister Mr Lim Swee Say … and he is pleased.

He thanked all the organizers, and specifically mentioned RP “In fact, Republic Polytechnic is … our core organizer …”. (I managed to videotape him.) And we have our Joyce to receive the plaque on behalf of RP.

  

Joyce has certainly put much effort in organizing this whole campaign. We were delighted to have served the community well, worked smoothly with Northwest CDC, and brought glory to RP and SAS.
