PDS Dinner - the Republic is awarded PDS Standard

 Obtaining
the People Developer Standard marks the first certification
that Republic Polytechnic has achieved since it was
established on 1 August 2002. To commemorate this
milestone, 10 RP staff (comprising of all Schools’ directors,
Centres' representative, RP Quality Manager and PD
project team members from OHR) attended the gala
dinner at the Meritus Mandarin Singapore, Mandarin
Ballroom on the 19 November 2003, to celebrate the
achievement.
Our P/CEO, Prof Low Teck Seng received the People
Developer plaque from Mr Peter Husum, Chairman,
People Excellence Award Council. Dr Ng Eng Hen,
Acting Minister for Manpower and Minister of State
for Education was the guest-of-honour of the event.
The evening commenced with a cocktail reception
at 6.00pm followed by the awards dinner at 7.00pm.
All People Developers, new as well as renewal organisations
in 2003 were presented with plaques during the
ceremony.
Republic Polytechnic will continue to uphold its
excellent People Developer Standards and strive
towards being an excellent employer!
