Inaugural CCC Advisory Committee meeting

The first Advisory Committee meeting for the Centre for Culture and Communication was held at Republic Polytechnic on the 10th of December. In attendance were prominent practitioners and figures in the arts scene. The meeting was chaired by P/CEO Prof Low Teck Seng. The meeting kicked off with a welcome, and a short briefing into RP's aims, objectives and visions. The CCC was also briefly introduced with regards to its activities, people and goals within the larger context. Among the topics of the day was the role of the committee in steering the CCC, as well as a lively discussion on society's views of artists and performances. All in all, it was a great start to what will be a strong driving force behind the CCC!
