$3000 in cash respectively. In addition, 10 Merit Prize
winners walked home with $200 each for submitting
entries of high quality.
Commented Mr Ng Yew Wee,
Director, Macromedia
South Asia on the aims of this competition:
“Macromedia and Republic Polytechnic have joined
hands in organizing this competition as we share
the same vision of inspiring a new generation of
students to excel in the digital world."
One of the judges, James Lee, a
senior IT trainer with Bits, said,
“Generally,
I find the entries to be of high standard. This is
especially so for the "Growing Atoms" submission
(winning entry for schools). It combines not only
a person's proficiency in Actionscripting but
also having an intimate knowledge of physics and
maths as well. I am very impressed with the level
of standard exhibited by the many submissions that
I have seen."
