Singapore’s own “CSI” murder mystery
Do you have what it takes to solve a puzzling, baffling murder mystery?
Fans of the hit TV series “CSI” are invited to test their analytical skills by taking part in an exciting murder mystery challenge at the Republic Polytechnic’s first major event at its new Woodlands Campus.
The “CSI” Murder Mystery is just one of the exciting events held during the Republic Polytechnic’s Open House from 14 January to 17 January.
Dr Terence Chong, Director, School of Applied Science of Republic Polytechnic and Open House Chairman said the Open House will showcase the Polytechnic’s unique problem based learning (PBL) approach which presents students with real-life dilemmas and challenges them to find solutions.
“The students and staff of Republic Polytechnic are thrilled to be moving to our new home at Woodlands in the next few months and we want to give our new neighbours and potential students the chance to experience our unique learning approach first hand.”
“At Republic Polytechnic our goal is to give our students powerful problem solving skills and to prepare them for leadership roles when they graduate.”
“The CSI Challenge is a fun way in which everyone can experience the exciting problem solving approach that forms the core of our educational approach.”
“The Open House is also a great way for staff and students to meet their new neighbours and we hope many Woodlands residents come along and enjoy the activities,” Dr Chong said.
