FAQs for Module Selection for AY2012 Semester 1 modulesQ1: I’m not able to login into the Module Selection webpage.Please close the window and login the webpage again. If you still continue to encounter this problem, please email together with the print screen of the error page to help-registrar@rp.sg. Q2: I do not know which modules I should take for the next semester.Please approach your Programme Chair for help. Q3: I do not know who my Programme Chair is.Please refer to the module selection announcement email for the list of Programme Chairs. Alternatively, you may also refer to the Student Handbook, Diploma Courses and Programme Chairs for more details. Q4: When is the module selection period?For AY2012 Semester 1, the module selection period is from 9 January 2012 (Monday), 10:00 am to 13 January 2012 (Friday), 11:59 pm. Q5: DO I NEED TO SUBMIT MY MODULE SELECTION FOR AY2012 SEMESTER 1?Students who have all modules pre-selected for them, as communicated to them by their respective Programme Chairs need not enter the module selection site to take part in this module selection. All other existing RP students who will be continuing their studies in the coming semester are required to submit their module selection for AY2012 Semester 1 modules. Students who are in their third or later years of study in RP and are expecting to graduate end of AY2011 Semester 2 need not participate in module selection. If in doubt, please consult your Programme Chair. Q6: I would like to know more about the modules that are offered in AY2012 Semester 1.The module synopsis for each module is available when you mouse-over the individual module code in the module selection site. Alternatively, you may visit the Student Handbook for more information. Q7: I have pre-selected modules in the Module Selection system. how can I change the pre-selected modules?Please approach your Programme Chair for help if you want to change the pre-selected modules. Only students with valid reasons are allowed to change the pre-selected modules. Q8: I am only able to select “Industry Immersion Programme” when I login to the module selection system and am unable to select any regular modules.Please note that students who have been assigned to participate in Industry Immersion Programme (IIP) via the module selection system by the respective Programme Chairs will not be able to select any regular modules. If in doubt, please approach your Programme Chair for clarification/advice. Q9: How and when do I know if I can get the modules which I have selected in the module selection system?Please note that module selection is meant for the student to indicate the set of module(s) each student wishes to take in AY2012 Semester 1. Confirmed enrolments based on the indicated choices will be announced via LEO on 10 April 2012, a week before AY2012 Semester 1 commences. Q10: Where can I find the modules which I have selected during the module selection?An email will be sent to your RP email account after you have submitted your module selection in the system. Q11: Can I change the module after I have submitted my selection in the system?During the module selection period (9 January 12, 10:00 am to 13 January 12, 11:59 pm), you can re-submit your module selection anytime. The last submission that is captured in the system will be considered as your final submission. You will receive an email for each submission that you have made in the module selection system. After 13 January 2012, 11:59 pm, you will NOT be allowed to change your module selection via the system anymore. Q12: I have missed the module selection period. How can I submit For my modules for next semester?Kindly approach your Programme Chair for help. Do note that priority is given to students who have submitted their module selection during the module selection period. Q13: What should I do when I see these error messages?You have selected more than 5 modules. Please check and re-select your modules again. You are only allowed to submit up to a maximum of 5 modules. You have selected modules which have UTs which fall on the same day. Please kindly refer to the UT Schedule (http://www.rp.sg/org/Student%20Handbook/Acad_UT_Schedule_2012Sem1UT1_2.aspx) and re-select your modules again. Q14: I have selected only one package with 5 modules for section A, but I still get the error below.Please ensure that you have not accidentally checked on any boxes in Section B. Q15: Where can I find the UT Schedule for AY2011 Semester 1?Please click the following link: Q16: How do I know that I need to retake any module(s) and which module(s) to retake?Please seek advice from your Programme Chair before submitting your module selection. Q18: I have forgotten my password to log into the Module Selection System.The userid and password which you need to log into the Module Selection System is the same as your RP userid and password.
