CORPORATE & CUSTOMER SERVICES

One-Stop Centre (OSC) is the first point-of-contact between the student and the Polytechnic. As such, it is strategically located at RPC Level 1 for easy access to students as well as the public.

One-Stop Centre provides integrated services for staff, students, visitors and handles both routine and non-routine dealings requiring human interface. The primary objective of the One-Stop Centre is to ensure that staff, students and visitors walk away with a pleasant feeling of being professionally and adequately served.

General Enquiries, Visitors, Staff and Students Counters which handle general enquiries and enquiries on RP courses, programmes, modules, study loans, on-campus accommodation, payment of fees, course withdrawals and facilitate issuance of student transcripts, attendance/result slips and deferment letters etc.

Goods and Deliveries Counter which facilitate the collection and distribution of deliveries to the relevant staff and the provision of courier services etc.

Referrals which pertain to students' interface with other parties such as the Schools and Centres on specific matters, banks and organisations on study loan and scholarship applications etc.




Facilities which include reception, payment booths, internet kiosks, meeting rooms, visitor waiting areas and a visitor phone for students/visitors for ease of contacting staff.

Call Centre which manages the RP Hotline, OSC enquiry line and supports QSM functions.

Documentation which refers to the processing (from hardcopies to softcopies where applicable), forwarding and/or filing of all incoming faxes, mail, finance documents, invoices/receipts etc.

Electronic Notice Boards which include sourcing, processing and scheduling of content for all plasma/LCD screens.

SmartCards which refer to the application, processing, issuance and tracking of staff and student ez-link cards, contractor and visitor access cards, staff workstation keys, staff name cards and the provision of attendance taking services (using ez-link card) etc.

ez-Link Cards
which refer to the Polytechnic’s drive towards a one-card environment where all transactions such as attendance-taking and withdrawal of items are performed using ez-link cards.

Logistics which refer to the planning and usage of storage space for corporate departments; the packing and distribution of school/diploma brochures and goodie bags; bulk sealing, franking and mailing of outgoing mails etc.

Events which refer to the planning, printing and deployment of events signage, management of notice boards and banner posts, and other events-related support activities

FAQ which refers to coordination of the Polytechnic’s FAQ System and ensuring that its vast database of knowledge is constantly updated.

Bookshop Services which refer to the coordination of the outsourced bookshop operations.

Photocopying and Printing Services
which refer to the coordination of all outsourced printing and photocopying services in RP.
