Harmony Works! Conference 11 July 2015
On the 11th July 2015, Taekwondo IG attended the “HarmonyWorks!” conference. This conference is organised annually by Onepeople.sg and supported by Temasek Polytechnic this year.
Republic Polytechnic Fight Night 2015, 14 August 2015
On the 14th of August 2015, RP’s Taekwondo, Judo and Aikido Interest Groups gathered and organised a basic self-defence workshop for the students of Republic Polytechnic.
The IGNITE! Takes on Town Tradition
A mass of people decked out in red and black were marching down the streets of Orchard last Saturday morning in fits of excitement and synchronized cheers – no, it was not a post-celebration for SG50 – it was Republic Polytechnic’s IGNITE! Takes on Town.
Needy Student Fund
The Needy Student Fund is initiated to help students from low-income families tide over their financial difficulties or unprecedented crisis due to various reasons (i.e. loss of main breadwinner in the family, hospitalisation…etc.).
POL-ITE Badminton 2015
The POL-ITE games for both the male and female badminton teams took place from the 21st July 2015 to the 31st July 2015 at Temasek Polytechnic’s new sports hall building. It was a tough one and a half weeks for teams competing against each other to win the coveted champion trophy.
All Fired Up For IGNITE!
All Fired Up! is a fringe event to showcase Republic Polytechnic’s (RP) very own Jammerz Arena (JA) who will also be performing at this year’s IGNITE! Music Festival. It was held on August 12th at South Agora in RP.
Replug Presents Origins
Through the songs they performed, the performers shared with others the era that they grew up in. Popular hits such as Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, Need You Now by Lady Antebellum were what started off their set and it ended with Geronimo by Sheppard, lifting everyone’s moods.
Laptop Assistance
Republic Polytechnic (RP) provides laptop assistance to new students who are from lower income families to cope with their laptop needs.
Ministry of Education (MOE)'s Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Ministry of Education (MOE)'s Special Education Needs Fund is made available for students that might require different and/or additional resources beyond what is conventionally available.
