Flame Awards 2014
With the theme “Heroes and Villains”, members from Republic Polytechnic’s 3 Arts Clubs – CREATE, Club:G and BizComm – came dressed as The Purge, The Avengers and many more famous comic names for the awards ceremony.
MILK Scholarship Recipients Giving Back to Society
On 11th and 18th November 2014, a group of MILK Scholarship student recipients volunteered for the “Me and My Family” community programme conducted by Fei Yue Family Service Centre (FSC).
BRAG strengthens One-RP spirit
Introduced in 2007, BRAG is an inter-school/centre competition that offers students a platform to develop character and instill the REPUBLIC values in a semi-competitive environment.
POL-ITE 2014: Gold Rush for Republic Canoeists
Republic canoeists hauled five Gold medals in the annual POL-ITE games at MacRitchie Reservoir on the cool rainy day of 18 October 2014.
10th Collegiate League - Bowling
This year, RP sent 3 teams for the 10th Collegiate League 2014 and competed against 15 teams from other polytechnics and universities. It was a 15-week league held in 4 different locations namely Chevrons, E-hub, West Bowl and Westwood Bowl.

RP-TBAS Youth Cup 2014
This year’s edition of Youth Cup was a huge success! The 5th RP-TBAS Youth Cup 2014 held on 29 Nov came to an end after months of preparation by the Tchoukball IG together with the efforts put in by Tchoukball Association Singapore (TBAS).
POL-ITE Bowling 2014
The POL-ITE competition is an annual event that brings bowlers from the five polytechnics and three ITE colleges coming as one institution to compete and forge friendships through sports.
Donation of Prize Money from STA students to RP Needy Student Fund
STA students have done RP proud by clinching the 2nd and 3rd prize for this year’s National Climate Change (NCCC) Video Competition under the category of Institute of Higher Learning (IHL). The teams competed against entries from TP, NYP, SP, NTU, NUS and the ITE colleges.
National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA)
I heard about the NYAA award when I was in secondary school but it never occurred to me that I would participate in it because I was not a very adventurous person to begin with. What an impact it has made to my life – I have since went for backpacking trip alone in New Zealand (the best decision of my life!) and many more.
Touch Football POL-ITE’ 2014/15
The time of the year has finally arrived; the long awaited POL-ITE season began on 21 Oct at Nanyang Polytechnic once again. Like every season, the team trained hard and grew as a team with the ultimate goal of clinching medal for the team, for themselves and for the polytechnic.
