Have you ever attended a workshop conducted by World Champions? The cheerleaders in Singapore were fortunate enough to attend one of the workshop conducted by the Bangkok University Cheerleading Team (BU), winner of the Cheerleading Worlds 2011. The event which was held from 16th to 18th December 2011 was organized by the Legacy All-Stars Cheerleading Team.

During the workshop, Republic Polytechnic's Cheerleading Team, Rexaz managed to acquire many useful skills and knowledge. The cheerleaders also had the chance to meet with the different cheerleaders around Singapore, like Legacy All-Stars, SP Gusto, TP Blazers, NYP Grizzlers and not forgetting the 8 cheerleaders from Bangkok University. We saw the energy and enthusiasm in the Bangkok Cheerleaders and that inspired us to be better cheerleaders.

The way the BU Cheerleaders moved & danced during their performance was full of energy and motivated many of our local cheerleaders.

The Thai cheerleaders taught us different skills such as Transitional Stunts, Partner Stunts, Basket Tosses, Physical Exercises and Dance. All the techniques they shared clearly demonstrated what it takes to be World Champions. The cheerleaders demonstrated their stunts in an almost effortless manner, leaving the audiences in awed. It was certainly a workshop worth remembering for life.
