RPDB's winnings at MR500 2015!
RPDB’s (Republic Polytechnic Dragon Boat) involvement in this year’s MR500 Premier Opens was a great success as they came in first. The annual event, which was held at Jurong Lake Park, happened from 14 – 15 March 2015.
YOUTHSpeak on Budget 2015
On 8 March 2015 (Sunday), 300 students representing various Junior Colleges, Secondary Schools, ITE and Polytechnics gathered at *SCAPE to meet the Minister for Finance, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam during the YOUTHSpeak on Budget dialogue session.
CREATE Management Camp 2015
The 3D2N camp – organised by CREATE Republic – was put in place to train incoming committee members on their leadership roles for their respective Interest Groups.
NTU Rugby 7s Invitational
RP sent a 7’s team to participate in the NTU 7s Invitational tournament on 14 March 2015, where we came in overall 7th placing. The RP team beat Singapore Polytechnic, our closest Polytechnic rivals in the knockout stage and went on to the quarter-finals.
RP Badminton Youth (U17) Challenge 2015
On the 16th and 17th of March 2015, Team Republic Badminton IG organised the inaugural RP Badminton Youth (U17) Challenge. About 152 students from various secondary schools took part in this competition.
Judo Inter-Tertiary Competition 2015
RP Judo team recently participated in the annual Judo Inter-tertiary Competition (ITC) co-hosted by NTU and SP on Saturday, 14th March 2015.
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Taekwondo Open Championships 2015
On 7 and 8 March 2015, Republic Polytechnic Taekwondo (RP TKD) took part in the annual NTU Taekwondo Open Championships 2015.

Laptop Assistance
Republic Polytechnic (RP) provides laptop assistance to new students who are from lower income families to cope with their laptop needs.
Needy Student Fund
The Needy Student Fund is initiated to help students from low-income families tide over their financial difficulties or unprecedented crisis due to various reasons (i.e. loss of main breadwinner in the family, hospitalisation…etc.).
Ministry of Education (MOE)'s Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Ministry of Education (MOE)'s Special Education Needs Fund is made available for students that might require different and/or additional resources beyond what is conventionally available.
