Chiron Club
Presenting the School of Applied Science - Chiron Club
Chiron Club is
our very own student club of the School of
Applied Science (SAS), managed by
SAS students, who plan and conceptualize various
activities and events for all SAS students and RP
too. All full-time SAS
students are automatically members of Chiron Club.
Chiron Club is
focused on engaging and developing
SAS students, in terms of
their social, interpersonal and scientific thinking
skills, which the club aims to achieve via the different events we have
organized and lined-up for everyone in the
academic term ahead. I am honoured to be the
President of the club
for this academic year 2009/10, as I foresee many
opportunities for this club to shine and achieve
greater heights.
My team and I
have gained valuable insights and learnt a lot in the
past year from our seniors in the 2008/09 Chiron Club
management committee, namely the President, Jabez
Wong Pok Hong, Vice President, Nurul Atikah bte Sari,
Honorary Secretary, Mariem bte Anwar and Honorary
Treasurer, Sharman Pandian. They have
enabled Chiron Club to achieve many milestones and
targets, by
planning and successfully executing
events and activities of various scales, ranging from
those that involve only SAS and RP students, to those
that involve nation-wide participation as well.
With that, my team and I will
endeavour to continue this tradition of excellence for
this academic year, and strive to achieve greater
potential.
