The School Of Applied Science Technology Development Centre (SAS-TDC)
The SAS-TDC was formed with the vision of leveraging on the professional expertise of its staff members in the School of Applied Science, employing our individual strengths and cumulative knowledge towards achieving our objective of developing a standing presence in the biomedical sciences technology arena.
We aim to drive the development and application of key technology platforms in the wide arena of applied sciences, such as biomedical sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences and environmental science. The TDC will also be developed to serve the needs of the education community at large, driving the development of new educational technologies in the field of science, whilst exposing novices to new technological tools and its application in these aspects.
Our TDC aims to achieve its goals by forming meaningful collaborations with key industry players. The following are key R&D technological capabilities which SAS have since initiated to-date, in collaboration with the relevant expertise in the industrial and research sectors.

Complementary and Alternative Medicine
