About the Programme

The Diploma in Wellness, Lifestyle and Spa Management (DWLSM) builds upon the career opportunities that are available in the fast growing hospitality and tourism industry.

Targeted to attract outstanding students who are passionate to join this high-growth hospitality industry, this diploma aims to provide students with business management skills and specialised knowledge on human biological systems for wellness and therapeutic case management.

Students will acquire a comprehensive and broad-based education within Raffles Hospitality Centre (RHC), which houses the state-of-the-art training hotel facilities equipped with a therapeutic laboratory on campus.

The innovative curriculum is designed in collaboration with industry partners to enable students to solve industry-based problems with guidance from our experienced facilitators.

Students will develop analytical skills and gain hands-on experience during the third year compulsory industry immersion programme.

Programme Aims

The Diploma in Wellness, Lifestyle and Spa Management programme prepares students in the following areas:
  • Operational and management skills in wellness, lifestyle, spa and resort operations
  • Nutrition
  • Human anatomy for management of personal wellness
  • Plan, design and prescribe exercise and physical activity to deliver safe yet effective physical activity programs for healthy living
  • Adaptive wellness therapies and nutrition to address hygiene and skin care, youth health, alternative medicine, eating disorders and weight management, posture and care, workplace health and current global health threats
  • Employ service excellence framework to address service issues and improve customer service standards
