Mark A. Serva

Mark A. Serva is an assistant professor of MIS at the University of Delaware. Dr. Serva's research interests include trust in e-commerce, human versus virtual moments, and latent growth modeling. He has previously published in IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Decision Sciences, The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, and Communications of the AIS. Dr. Serva has also received a number of teaching awards, include Delaware's Exemplary Use of Technology in Teaching in 2007. Dr. Serva is also the associate director for the Institute for Transforming Undergraduate Education (ITUE), which advocates for the use of student-centered teaching methods and the effective use of technology for enhancing student learning.
