Conceptualised as a series of historical tours, the Walksoperate on a simple principle: to bring people into places most other tours don’t. Graveyards, smoke houses, wet markets, funeral shops and a few inviting pubs thrown in for good measure. The Walks have been around since 2003 to entertain both residents and tourists with illuminating anecdotes that speak volumes of local culture and heritage.
In conjunction with The Changi Museum, Journeys also conducts the Changi Museum War Trails™ which tell of the Fall and Occupation of Singapore during the Second World War. These coach tours are dedicated to the memory of all who fought and suffered during those dark years.
Like the popular walking tours available in major cities of the world, one can expect to join a different Walk and/or War Trail on different days of the week, rain or shine, without having to book in advance.
