  Main Theme: Reinventing PBL

PBL has been embraced by many prominent institutions worldwide as a main-stream instructional pedagogy. The theme of the Symposium – Reinventing PBL – is a daring proposition that PBL is constantly evolving, and the debate about PBL has shifted from “why use PBL” to “how to use PBL better”.

The vision of “reinventing PBL” is to spur academics to continuously rediscover their conceptions of learning in the PBL context, and through credible research, initiate improvements to PBL.

“Reinventing PBL” will be an exciting opportunity for scholars to present critical reviews of PBL methodologies, new perspectives on PBL and paradigm shifts within PBL. To reflect our belief that there must be institution-wide commitment for PBL to be successful, we have chosen to put together a symposium that will be relevant to strategic management as well as faculty/ teaching staff.
