VISION

Aims

The ENV TDC aims to develop core competencies to transform Republic Polytechnic into Singapore’s leader in harnessing waste in distributed power generation. This goal is set against a broader set of technologies to demonstrate the feasibility of zero effluent communities.

Strategic Goals

The ENV TDC will pull various components together for RP and aim to establish itself as:

Singapore’s leader in converting waste food, biomass, land and heat into power, fuels, cooled air and clean soil and water.
Centre of excellence in technologies required to integrate renewable energy sources for consistent supply of power at maximum efficiency
A showcase for the effective integration of Renewable Energy, Environmental and Water Technologies to make Singapore a true “garden city”
