The project will give participants the opportunity to be exposed to the various techniques like SAN frame capturing & analysis, bastille OS, open source intrusion detection rule-based engine (SNORT) and storage specific rule sets.

Penetration Testing Tool for storage device

This project looks into the development of tools for generating exploits against vulnerabilities in storage system (NAS/SAN/OSD). Exploits can come in the form of Viruses, Worms, or malicious shell code that jeopardizes the service offered by storage system.
