RPID/ePC Warehouse Management System Project in
Collaboration with RP SEG
RFID/EPC (Electronic Product Code) is the emerging technology
for RFID applications in the area of supply chain management.
EPC is a coding scheme for RFID data that will identify an
individual item's manufacturer, product category and unique
serial number. But the EPC concept encompasses much more than
data structures—it's a complete network of integrated
technologies, software and systems combined to take full
advantage of RFID technology. |

TrustQuery - Development of a DRM component in
collaboration with IIR
TrustQuery is a first-of-its kind technology that addresses
unique rights management issues of query/responses in 3G
applications. We assume that users are interested in downloading
segments from a large content-rich repository. Users request
such content using simple queries.
Using an innovative security construct, TrustQuery includes a
small data structure in the response header which the user can
verify the authenticity, soundness and completeness of the
content received.
TrustQuery does not alter the content repository. TrustQuery is
an add-on module that complements existing DRM systems.
TrustQuery is also designed such that flexible payment schemes
can be easily integrated into it. |

Open Office Basic Macro Conversion Toolkit in
collaboration with Resolvo Systems
This project seeks to address a prevalent interoperability
problem in the use of Open Office Basic and Microsoft word by
developing a conversion toolkit that helps in converting VBA
macros to Open Office Basic Macros. |
