Technology Development

• The aim of this project is for the Logistics Object Library to function as a configurable and portable logistics simulation tool for fast, easy and accurate modeling. This will enable logistics companies to use simulation to find out how the addition and modifications of existing processes and layout will affect customer service level. Amendments and modifications can be done to the model to meet customer service levels without expensive and time consuming labour, process or layout changes.

Deliverables

•  Develop a Logistics Objects Library to reduce the time and skill needed for simulation modeling of inbound and outbound warehouse logistics.

• Verify and showcase the application of the Logistics Objects Library via an industrial project with Yang Kee, an expanding local 3^rd party logistics provider with regional footprints
