Economical Packaging/Product Testing For Environmental Conditions and Handling
TDC Portal
Globalization will continue to increase product movement and number of touch points along its supply chain. Couple with changing weather conditions, there is an increasing need for packaging to be robust to the transportation vibration, handling and environment it is subjected to.

To meet the growing needs in environmental and handling testing on packages, an environment test chamber, a drop test system and a vibration test system is brought in under Quality Engineering Lab (pod W5, Level 3, Lab 36) and located at Integrated Supply Chain Lab (i-SAIL) in Pod E2, Level 1, Lab G (E21G).

Our product/package reliability and quality capabilities is as listed below
  1. Precise automated coordinate measurements for components
  2. Image processing capability for vision measurement of components
  3. Image acquisition at component level for measurement and failure analysis studies 4. Metrology studies using digital Torque/Force gauges, digital vernier calipers, digital micrometers, digital weighing scales and go/no-go gauges and accessories
  4. Image acquisition at component level for measurement and failure analysis studies
  5. Engineering measurement and analysis
  6. Vibration profiling and simulation studies during transportation
  7. Product and package reliability testing for vibration, drop impact and temperature/humidity conditions.
