Technology Development Centre for Supply Chain
Management (TDC for SCM) is formed to promote technology development,
technology transfer and consulting services to the industry, and
support teaching in the area of supply chain management and
logistics technology in the School of Engineering. Through
collaborating with other centers in Republic Polytechnic, TDC for SCM
will enhance the multi-disciplinary character of R&D undertaken and
attract funding and active participation from industries and
government bodies
Vision
The
TDC in Supply Chain Management focuses on developing technology
competencies in crucial areas of global logistics network
operations. Our key, incisive areas of specialization with
industrial partners includes RFID-enabled supply chain systems,
logistics systems modeling, scheduling and optimization, layout
design, logistics profiling as well as quality management system and
tools like six-sigma to create the most responsive and adaptive
supply chains.
