Diploma in Sport Management (R27)

What You Will Learn

Aspire to help establish Singapore as a key player in the global sporting arena? Learn how to execute major sporting events with professionalism and deftness.

An increased focus on sports has created new opportunities, enhanced national pride and generated community buzz in Singapore; and the success of local athletes in the SEA Games and Olympics has reignited the nation’s passion for sports and sporting events. In order to take Singapore to the next level on the global stage, we will require passionate, driven individuals to plan and execute world-class events with creativity and class.

Through the Diploma in Sport Management (DSPM), you will gain extensive knowledge across diverse industries such as sports law, sports business, facilities management, sports policies, and volunteer management which will prepare you to take on pivotal roles in sports associations, corporate businesses and the Singapore government in its ongoing quest for sporting success.

Upon graduation, you would have successfully combined your sports know-how with practical business skills to carve out successful careers in Singapore growing sports industry.

Thanks to this specially designed programme, athletes like me can continue to pursue their passion in sports while studying for a diploma. It allows us to balance both studies and sports. There is time for us to study, work on projects and assignments.
