SHARE Achiever Award for Community Chest Award 2022

At Republic Polytechnic (RP), we strive to help enrich the lives of the less privileged in our community by contributing to charities and community projects. We believe that everyone can care and share, and that no act of charity is too small. RP received the SHARE Achiever Award for the 2nd year in a row for our continuous good participation rate for the SHARE Programme. We are proud of RP’s spirit of giving especially during this challenging period and thankful that almost 99% of RP staff are contributing to the SHARE programme.

SHARE Achiever Award for Community Chest Award 2021

Republic Polytechnic (RP) won the SHARE Achiever Award for Community Chest Award 2021 which is the highest tier of SHARE Awards.  The award criteria is based on the total donation amount and the participation rate of employees within an organisation in the Financial Year 2020 (1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021). Close to 99% of RP staff are contributing to the SHARE programme and within a year, RP’s SHARE participation rate has increased from 74% to 99%.

SG Enable Awards 2021

Republic Polytechnic (RP) is honoured to receive the Enabling Mark (Silver), a national-level accreditation framework by SG Enable . The Enabling Mark Awards - which comprise of Enabling Mark (Silver/Gold/Platinum), Enabling Innovation Award, Enabling Champion Award, Enabling Buddy Award and Exemplary Employee Award – recognise the efforts of organisations and individuals for their best practices, outcomes and commitment in disability-inclusive employment. They replace the biennial Enabling Employer Awards (EEA). 

In addition to the Enabling Mark accreditation, Mr. Roger Lua from our Office of Student Support also received the Exemplary Employee Award from President Halimah Yacob at the inaugural Enabling Mark Awards ceremony held on 27 August 2021 at the Istana. The Exemplary Employee Award recognises employees with disabilities who have made commendable efforts and contributions at the workplace. Well done, Roger! 

It was heartening to see that more employers are coming on-board the inclusive hiring journey as part of their rewarding workplace transformation! And RP will continue our efforts to help build a more inclusive work environment!

Community Chest SHARE Silver Award 2020

Republic Polytechnic (RP) was accorded the Community Chest SHARE Silver Award for our continuous good participation rate for SHARE Programme. With the support from all staff who had contributed to SHARE, RP has helped to provide sustained support for the Community Chest’s social service agencies during challenging times.

Singapore Health Award 2019

Republic Polytechnic (RP) is a proud recipient of the Singapore Health Award 2019 (Merit) awarded by Health Promotion Board! This is an affirmation of our continuous efforts and investments in promoting workplace health for all RP staff members, with strong support and commitment from RP’s Senior Management.

5th Enabling Employers Awards 2019

Republic Polytechnic (RP) is honoured to be a first-time recipient of the Certificate of Recognition at the 5th Enabling Employers Awards (EEA) dinner held on 26 July 2019 at the Pan Pacific Hotel. This biennial event was organised by SG Enable to recognise the collective efforts of organisations and individuals who have demonstrated commitment towards hiring and integrating persons with disabilities in the workforce. 

It was heart-warming to witness the heartfelt testimonies of both employers and employees who have benefitted from organisations who have come forward to hire and integrate persons with disabilities. RP is excited to join them in our efforts to be a more inclusive employer!

Organised by Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI), The Singapore HR Awards celebrate leading organisations and HR practitioners in their drive for impactful human capital strategies. SHRI Awards serves as a platform to promote and recognise excellence within the HR profession in Singapore by highlighting leading organisational HR practices and individuals.

Work-Life Sustained Excellence Award 2014

The Work-Life Excellence Award, conferred by the Tripartite Committee on Work-Life Strategy, celebrates our achievements in the area of work-life. This award recognises employers and individuals for their contributions in promoting greater flexibility and work-life.

Republic Polytechnic is honoured to be the first Polytechnic which won the Work-Life Sustained Excellence Award in 2014 as we had achieved the Work-Life Excellence Award excellence over three consecutive award periods of two years each.

Best Companies for Mums 2014

In recognition of HR policies in the company that promote work-life harmony, Republic Polytechnic was presented with the “Best Companies for Mums” award by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) Women’s Development Secretariat (WDS) and Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP).

Amongst 200 nominees judged based on the company’s extent of flexible work arrangement practices available, variety of pro-family employee leave schemes, employee support schemes and infrastructural support like lactation facilities and onsite childcare, RP stood out as one in only fourteen recipients of this award.

Singapore HEALTH Award (Platinum) 

The Singapore HEALTH (Helping Employees Achieve Life-Time Health) Award recognises companies with outstanding workplace health promotion practices. The HEALTH Award distinguishes the organisation as a caring employer who values employees’ health and well-being.

Republic Polytechnic is honoured to receive the Platinum Award in 2012 which is the highest form of recognition for this award after achieving three consecutive Gold Awards.
