Overseas Programmes

At RP, we believe in giving our students the opportunity to learn and grow on an international stage.

Overseas programmes allow our students to enjoy experiential learning that sees them apply their knowledge and skills in different settings. These global experiences are carefully designed so that our students can meet specific learning objectives through real-life or virtual visits and/or activities at culturally significant and industry-relevant sites. 

Pre-COVID-19, RP students have travelled overseas on International Service-Learning Projects, where they have shared and used their expertise to help the local communities there. 

The Overseas Industry Immersion Programme (OIIP) is a special category of overseas programmes. Here students travel overseas for an extended period to complete internships with international companies. This allows them to gain a global perspective in their field of study and future profession.

Even with travel restrictions, RP students can still engage with the international community through virtual programmes. Our students get to interact with peers in overseas institutions, working in project teams, exchanging knowledge, culture and experiences through webinars, and online workshops. 

Our overseas programmes (both real-life and virtual) have taken students to countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, United States of America, United Kingdom, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
