CHRISTOPHER BONG JUE SHI

School of Applied Science

A well-rounded student, Christopher excelled in academic pursuits and community service activities. He was inducted into the Director’s Roll of Honour for five semesters and was a recipient of the A*STAR Science Award and Ngee Ann Kongsi Scholarship. 

Christopher was outstanding beyond the classroom having served as the Vice-President of Eureka Interest Group in AY2019 where his ability to lead was recognised by his peers. 

Dedicated in his mission to volunteer and serve communities, Christopher was also an active participant of service-learning projects. He was part of the organising committee for the Asian Women Welfare Association’s (AWWA) mid-autumn festival celebrations for the Pioneer Generation. He also volunteered for Rainbow Centre Carnival, where children with special needs bonded with their families over games. In recognition of his active involvement in community services, Christopher received the National Youth Achievement Gold Award in 2020.

Passionate about sports, Christopher represented Republic Polytechnic in the 400m race under Athletics at the Singapore National Games in 2018.
