Activation of Home-based Learning (HBL)

Full-time Diploma students

RP will activate HBL for all full-time Diploma students when the new semester commences, from 20 April to 1 June 2020.

There will be no lessons conducted on campus during this period, and students will be required to engage in online learning from home using LEO 2.0.

Online support will be provided by the respective lecturers throughout the scheduled times for each lesson. If students require further clarification or assistance, they may contact their respective Programme Chairs. All PET and PFP students have been informed of the HBL details and arrangements by Office of the Registrar (ORG).

Continuing Education & Training (CET) students

Adult learners who are pursuing Part-Time Diplomas and Specialist Diplomas will also be placed on HBL mode until 4 May 2020. All CET short courses from 7 April to 4 May 2020 will either be deferred or conducted online. RP ACE will inform these students about arrangements that have been made.

During this period, all students are reminded to stay at home and avoid congregating in groups to minimise the risk of virus transmission, on top of adopting good hygiene practices.
