Safe Re-opening

The multi-ministry taskforce has announced that Singapore will ease out of the circuit breaker from 2 June in a controlled and calibrated manner as the risk for infection in the community remains real. The circuit breaker measures will progressively be lifted, over three phases. Safe Re-opening is the first of these phases, a gradual re-opening of some activities.

This is what's happening at RP.

Full-Time Diploma Students

Full-Time Diploma Students

Students will continue with Home-based Learning (HBL). Only selected practical or laboratory-based sessions or assessments will be conducted on campus, and affected students will be required to come to RP for these sessions.

These students will be subject to temperature screening, access control and safe distancing measures.

The start and end timings for such lessons will also be staggered to reduce physical interaction on campus.

On-campus CCA activities are still suspended and students are encouraged to continue with the CCA activities online. RP has also made available various resources and support services online should students need help.

Continuing Education and Training Students

Continuing Education & Training (CET) Students

Adult learners who are pursuing Part-Time Diplomas and Specialist Diplomas will also continue to be placed on HBL mode.

All CET short courses will either be deferred or conducted online.

RP ACE will inform these students about arrangements that have been made.

Access to Campus

Access to RP Campus

Our campus remains closed to the public. We have deployed SafeEntry, a national digital check-in system to keep track of entry and exit records for staff and students who need to be on campus for official duties, practical lessons or final-year projects.

These staff and students must also enable 'TraceTogether' app on their mobile devices to support contact tracing efforts. They must wear a mask and maintain a safe distance at all times.

Members of the public, staff and students are encouraged to use RP e-services. You will continue to receive quality service through these e-channels.
