Cultural Festivals

At RP, we recognise the importance of fostering the varied talents of students and enriching their experience by encouraging a vibrant student life. RP’s three annual festivals – IGNITE!, Momentum and Reflections – will allow you to experience different kinds of music, dance, theatre and visual arts.

Momentum Dance Festival 

Momentum - RP's Dance Festival held annually in May, aims to encourage creativity in dance and promote original works of various dance genres. Gathering the best of the dance groups from local schools and institutions of higher learning, the festival provides the canvas for RP dancers and other schools to explore and showcase the myriad of dance genres in the vibrant world of dance.

IGNITE

IGNITE! Music Festival 

IGNITE! Music Festival is an annual Music Festival that provides an excellent, credible platform for local independent bands to showcase their music. Solely student-run, it is the only music festival of this scale organised by a Polytechnic. The 2-day event features good, local bands of mixed genre. 

Reflections

Reflections Community Arts Festival 

Reflections - RP's Community Arts Festival is a 3 week-long festival of music, dance, theatre and visual art installations and exhibitions, where local talents are provided with the environment to encourage the creative expressions of various art forms.
