Funding Schemes

SkillsFuture Credits

All courses offered by ACE@RP are eligible for SkillsFuture credits.
Every Singaporean aged 25 and above is eligible to use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fees.
For more information, please refer to:  https://www.skillsfuture.gov.sg/credit

MOE Subsidy

Eligible Singapore citizens and permanent residents* can enjoy subsidised course fees provided by the Singapore Government. The course fees are payable on a per certificate basis and are inclusive of GST. These fees are determined based on prevailing funding policies and subject to annual review and revision.

All Singaporeans aged 25 years and above can make use of SkillsFuture Credit to pay for course fees.

*Singapore permanent residents (SPR) will only be eligible for subsidy for their first Part-time Diploma and first Post-Diploma (i.e. first Advanced Diploma, first Specialist Diploma and first Diploma (Conversion) respectively). This is subject to SPR not having previously attained a qualification at the Diploma or higher level that was subsidised through a MOE subsidy or Government sponsorship.

Bursaries

RP Bursary Application for Part-Time Diploma Students

Government bursaries are available to help Continuing Education and Training (CET) students enrolled in RP's Part-Time diploma programmes defray living expenses.

The bursary is valid for one modular semester. Eligible students only need to apply once at the start of the Academic Year (AY) (July exercise) to be auto-awarded bursary in subsequent semesters within the AY (November or February exercises).

New application process (effective from October 2022)

Integration of the existing RP application system, Financial Assistance Scholarship System (FAST), with the Household Means Eligibility System (HOMES) - a government system supporting public assistance schemes, including schemes from the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) such as Republic Polytechnic (RP), to conduct means-test assessments, to determine eligibility for MOE schemes such as government bursary, etc.

Applicants will enjoy greater convenience of prefilling their government bursary application form for household information that is existing in government systems. This new process, based on consent provision by household members and/or applicant, will allow income information to be shared with HOMES Participating Agencies such as RP, for assessment of eligibility for government bursary and other public assistance schemes.

With the consent-focused application process, there will be fewer supporting documents for you to submit when applying for government bursary.
