Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) has been appointed as the new testing provider for the following point-to-point vocational licences (VL) from 17 August 2026.

  • Taxi Driver's Vocational Licence (TDVL)

  • Private Hire Car Driver's Vocational Licence (PDVL)

  • Conversion of PDVL to TDVL (CTDVL)

Existing TDVL, PDVL and CTDVL applicants can continue to attend re-tests at Republic Polytechnic (RP) until 27 August 2026. The last date to register for a re-test at RP is 21 August 2026.

For re-tests after 27 August 2026, please contact Nanyang Polytechnic for more information.

RP will cease to serve as a testing provider on 16 September 2026.
