It is a train-and-place programme that is available on a part-time or full-time format, typically ranging from three to six months.

The SCTP is open to all Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents seeking training opportunities to transition into a new sector or job role. Applicants must be able to commit and meet all training requirements, including minimum attendance and passing assessments.

Singaporeans aged 40 years and above may use the SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up of $4,000 to offset out-of-pocket course fees for selected courses including SkillsFuture Career Transition Programmes.
