A-Level graduates can look forward to obtaining a RP diploma within a shortened timeline.
The Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE) allows applicants with other local qualifications to apply for admission to our full-time diploma courses. Admission is based on academic merit and subject to available vacancies of the diploma courses.
Eligible applicants can also be exempted from one semester or one year of studies for courses starting in April or October.

Minimum Entry Requirements (MER)
You must fulfil the MER of our full-time diploma courses:
Obtain an A-S grade for General Paper (English Medium), AND
Obtain an A-E grade for 2 other H2 subjects

While some courses have been renamed from Intake Year 2025, successful DAE A-Level applicants with module exemptions will be enrolled under the Intake Year 2024 course name. Refer to the RP Course Guide for Intake Year 2024 for the course structure.
Application
There are different application periods for each intake:
For Apr 2025 Intake: 21 Feb - 6 Mar 2025
For Oct 2025 Intake: Aug 2025
You can apply online through the DAE Application Portal and indicate up to 3 courses.
Please refer to the User Guide on how to apply or contact us if you need assistance.
Please consider your choices very carefully, and check that all your information entered are accurate before submitting the application, as you will not be able to make any amendments upon submission.
If you already have a course offer from RP through other admissions exercise, you are advised to complete the online enrolment by the date stipulated in the enrolment letter, so that it will not lapse while awaiting the outcome of your DAE application.
Posting
The outcome of your DAE application will be sent to your email account (indicated in your DAE application) on the following dates.
For Apr 2025 Intake: By 1 Apr 2025
For Oct 2025 Intake: By 30 Sep 2025
Enrolment
If your application is successful, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online enrolment.

If your DAE application is successful, and you have previously accepted a course offer from RP through other admissions exercise, you are required to accept the new course offer to supersede the earlier course acceptance.
