The Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE) allows applicants with other qualifications to apply for admission to our full-time diploma courses. Admission is based on academic merit and subject to available vacancies of the diploma courses. Meeting the Minimum Entry Requirement (MER) does not guarantee that applicant will be offered a placement in the diploma programme. These requirements are set in place to ensure fairness to all applicants.

Entry Requirements
You must fulfil the following requirements:
Obtain a College or High School Certificate (equivalent to the Singapore-Cambridge O-Level Certificate)
Meet the MER listed under the respective country/qualification below.
Please note:
Students with international qualifications are required to submit valid IELTS or TOEFL results, except for the following group of students with Cambridge O-Level equivalent qualifications:
Acceptable IELTS minimum score: 6 for all individual components and overall band score; TOEFL minimum score: 78
The IELTS Indicator and TOEFL iBT ® Special Home Edition are also accepted.

Assessed on a case-by-case basis but should have completed Year 12 of High School with:
*Prospective SCPR applicants whose national exams have been cancelled or deferred due to COVID-19 may still submit an application using their school results, which may be considered on a case-by-case basis. They should submit proof that they had registered for the national exams along with their application. Applicants may be assessed further for suitability in the courses applied.

Application is made online through the DAE Application Portal. Please refer to our User Guide on how to apply.
You may indicate up to 3 course choices in your application
Upload softcopies of these documents in your online application (File size limit: 2MB each): (1) Identification document, (2) Result slips(s), (3) Other supporting document(s), if any
Assessment
You may be invited for an assessment to assess your aptitude and your suitability for the course.

The outcome of your DAE application will be sent to your email account (indicated in your DAE application) on the following dates:
