Working Adults
Working adults with relevant experience can apply to RP diplomas through EAE or DAE. Admission is based on merit and course vacancies.

Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)
If you have at least two years of relevant work experience, you can apply for a full-time diploma course through the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE). If you’re already a student looking to change courses, you should apply via the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE).

Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)
If you’re a working professional looking to pursue a full-time diploma at RP, the DAE is your pathway to apply using your work experience.
Admission is based on merit and available vacancies in each course.
Who can apply
You are eligible to apply if you have work experience and meet the minimum entry requirements (MER) for your applicant type below:
Working Adult
You must:
Be a Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR)
Have at least two years of full-time work experience relevant to the diploma courses you’re applying for

Part-time (PT) ITE Holder
You must meet one of these:
Higher Nitec with GPA ≥ 2.0 and at least 1 year of relevant work experience
Nitec with GPA ≥ 3.5 and at least 1 year of relevant work experience
WSQ Holder
You must:
Hold a WSQ Diploma (or higher) qualification with at least one year of relevant work experience

DAE application timeline for Working Adult, PT ITE & WSQ Holder
The DAE application schedule is as follows:
14 January – 19 January 2026
You’ll need to apply online through the DAE Application Portal. Follow our step-by-step user guide here [PDF, 974 KB].
You can indicate up to 3 course choices in your application.
You are required to submit a short write-up about your relevant experience in areas related to the course(s) you’re applying for.
Tip: Check your details and course selections carefully before submitting — you won’t be able to edit your application after it’s submitted.
What happens after you apply
1. Posting results
You’ll receive the outcome of your DAE application directly to the email address you provided in your application by 31 March 2026.
2. Online enrolment
If you’re successfully posted to RP, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to complete your online enrolment.
