Republic Polytechnic Beats Encore is a Brazilian percussion group established in 2006 and is one of the well-known Batucada groups among the tertiary institutions.

Over the years, the group has worked with many renowned industry professionals such as Riduan Zalani from Nadi Singapura and Idham Budiman from Wicked Aura in various performances in the local drumming community. A regular at the highly popular production, World Drum Night, the group has also organised their own Blazin’ Beats Drumming Competition as part of IGNITE! Music Festival 2017 which was a critical success.

Apart from external performances, Beats Encore organises their own annual production Resonance, which aims to develop members’ creativity and artistic excellence.

The group is also a staple in many key RP events such as RP Open House, Graduation Ceremony, Poly Forum, Reflections Arts Festival and many more!
