Republic Polytechnic Beats Encore is one of the well-known percussion ensembles among the tertiary institutions with ample performing experience.

The interest group has achieved numerous awards such as first runner-up and Champions for National DrumzOut Competition in 2011 and 2012, as well as Champions for the DBS Marina Regatta Drum Challenge in 2013 and 2014. 

They have also worked with renowned industry professionals such as Riduan Zalani from NADI Singapore and Idham Budiman from Wicked Aura for their maiden production ‘World Drum Night II’ in 2013. Beats Encore also organised the inaugural ‘Blazin Beats’ Drumming competition as part of IGNITE Music Festival 2017 which was very well received by many.
