Delve into an adventure with the Minor in Experiential Learning. Immerse yourself in both classroom study and hands-on experiences to broaden your understanding and develop your skills in leading various forms of experiential education.

Programme highlights

Through this minor, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in authentic experiences in adventure education, environmental studies, and youth outreach.

  • Reflect and connect real-life experiences to concepts of experiential learning.

  • Apply experiential learning in working with youths through adventure, environmental education, and service learning.

Modules

You will need to complete a total of 12 Modular Credits (MCs) to fulfil the programme requirements.

  • S131 Introduction to Experiential Education

  • S234 Foundations of Adventure Education

  • S235 Foundations of Environmental Studies

Modules offered in Semester 2:

  • S131 Introduction to Experiential Education

  • S239 Biodiversity in Singapore

  • S335 Youth Outreach and Development

Who can apply?

RP students from all Diplomas except Diploma in Outdoor Education.
