Become a guardian of digital security with our Minor in Infocomm Security. Arm yourself with cybersecurity essentials across three key areas: protecting computer systems, securing communication networks, and ensuring data safety.

Programme highlights

Through this minor, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand governance, risk, compliance, and data protection issues.

  • Learn to assess and manage cybersecurity risks in organisational IT systems.

  • Acquire skills to secure computer systems and networks.

  • Develop abilities in IT governance, compliance, risk management, and data protection.

Modules

You will need to complete a total of 12 Modular Credits (MCs) to fulfil the programme requirements.

  • C376 Governance, Risk & Compliance and Data Protection

  • C386 Computer System Security
