This module introduces students to selected types of speciality chemicals (e.g.
dispersants, surface active agents, pigments and dyes, plastic additives, etc.) with emphasis on their chemistry, properties and functions. The applications of the speciality chemicals in various industries such as coatings, paints, lubricants, consumer care and others will be covered.
