A228 Sustainable Reporting and Communications

The module introduces the concept of sustainability and its application on both the local and global scales.

Students will learn about the relevance of sustainability to businesses in the modern era and the importance of communicating sustainability efforts through sustainability reporting. Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Standards for sustainability reporting will also be introduced as a reference for students to apply and write a sustainability report for organisations. Students will also learn how to apply theories and principles of communication and ensure that sustainability messages, as well as ideas, can be effectively conveyed within and outside organisations.
