A257 Good Dispensing Practice
The Good Dispensing Practice module aims to provide a foundational understanding of industry best practices pertaining to medication safety.
It is designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills required for accurately dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety and treatment efficacy. Through this module, students will explore medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculation concepts to accurately determine medication dosages. Additionally, students will develop the skills to utilise drug information sources to modify dosages for patients with renal and hepatic impairments and to calculate doses tailored to the needs of diverse patient populations.
