A309 Environmental Management and Assessment
The module provides an overview of methods to sustainably manage our impact on the environment through the introduction of management systems and assessment tools.
Students will acquire knowledge of environmental law and learn how to implement and audit an environmental management system according to ISO standards. Various assessment tools, such as life cycle assessment, environmental impact assessment, and strategic environmental assessment, will be covered in this module. Students will also be introduced to environmental valuation methods, eco-labelling and green building requirements used internationally and locally.
