A360 Bioinformatics
This module introduces students to the fundamental concepts of bioinformatics and demonstrates the application of bioinformatics to address biological questions.
The module covers how genomic, proteomic and protein structure data are stored and accessed. Students will learn about how the various bioinformatics tools and databases can be used to understand gene or protein functions, as well as utilise these tools to understand biological processes and human diseases.
