A370 Environment, Health and Safety
This module aims to equip students with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of concepts to manage environment, health, and safety issues at the workplace.
Students will learn how to identify and control hazards that may be present in different workplaces and their impact on safety and health. They will then acquire the knowledge and skills to implement and audit a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System. In addition, the module trains students on environmental health, covering topics from managing indoor air quality to infectious disease and vector control. This equips students with the knowledge and skills to take on the role of an environmental control coordinator. Students will also be introduced to Singapore’s environmental and workplace safety and health legislation.
