Drug Design and Medicinal Chemistry introduces students to the interplay between chemical structure, biological activity, and pharmacokinetic properties, laying the groundwork for understanding drug design and development processes.
Students will gain insights into the computational and structure-based approaches used in the rational design of small-molecule drugs and biological therapeutics, and the pivotal role these techniques play in optimising lead compounds.
