A389 Healthcare Professionalism and Patient Counselling Skills
This module aims to develop students in the technical and professional skills to effectively engage with patients in healthcare settings.
The module focuses on cultivating professionalism, ethical conduct, and communication skills and equips students with the competencies to function in interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide collaborative patient care. Through authentic role-plays set in hospital and retail pharmacy contexts, students will gain practical experience and hone their competencies in medication dispensing and patient counselling.
