C310 Automating Work Processes with AI

This module prepares students to improve business processes through no-code artificial intelligence (AI) automation. Students will analyse business workflows to determine what to automate, augment with AI, or retain for human judgement, and evaluate the risks that arise when AI is embedded within automated processes.

Using visual tools, students will build and test workflows with triggers, actions, integrations, prompting, and AI-driven decision points. They will apply error handling, monitoring, and approval controls, and design workflows with appropriate human oversight to ensure responsible operation within organisational settings.

Students will be equipped to create and evaluate AI-enabled workflows that balance business value with reliability, risk, security, compliance, and ethical considerations.
