C373 Distributed Ledger Technology Solutioning (Specialisation)

This module involves the study of different Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platforms.

Students will compare the technical and functional capabilities of various DLT platforms and the applicability of such DLT platforms according to different business requirements.

Students will learn to provision Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) wherein a fully configured DLT/blockchain platform of choice can be deployed. Students will also learn to program and deploy smart contracts on the DLT/ blockchain to automate the execution of agreements, without intermediary involvement or time loss and develop web-based programs that connect or integrate to a BaaS for various reporting and workflow business requirements for stakeholders.
